I'm a bad girl....

Neglecting this blog so long. Sorry folks, the shop is eating all my time.

However this: http://mine.icanhascheezburger.com/view.aspx?ciid=730501
was just too cute not to pas along to folks.

BTW, it's the picture of a cuttle fish, the creature from which a cuttle bone comes from.

And dang if it's not cute.

Time flys!

I've been busy. Very busy. And tomorrow (Friday the 16th) all my work will be open to the public.
Ok, not just my work, the folks I have helping me with the store deserve most of the credit.

Natural Stitches invites you to join us as we open the doors TOMORROW at 10am!

All better

Well, Robin, the computer god that he is, fixed my problems with uploading files to PittsburghKnitting so all is well there.

I wanted to point folks to the Fiber Festival that a friend is planning.

And lastly, Natural Stitches now has a blog and I'm off to do some updating on that page.

Keep on knitting!

On the Knitting Front

Nine years ago I closed the doors to the yarn shop I had owned for over five years.

Soon I am going to be reopening those doors, in a way.

I have decided it is time for me to once again open and run a yarn store in the city of Pittsburgh. So, like a phoenix, Natural Stitches will be reborn.

I am waiting to actually sign the lease on a space that is perfect. Ok, maybe not quite perfect, but definitely close.

With over 2000 square feet it'll be a BIG place and I'll need to carry a lot of yarns.

I'm willing to entertain any suggestions local folks might have. Though I plan on not carrying much (if any) yarns that you can find at Michael's, JoAnn's, or Pat Catan's.

I can't give any more details, primarily because until I actually sign the lease, I don't HAVE any of the details. *sigh* So stay tuned for future updates!

Wheee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
